Ez-Bone here, now, I guess you're wanting to know some stuff about me... well! >_> I'm a husky artist (luff huskies of all sizes colors, and attitudes x3) I draw mainly from the spur of a moment but other times I'll be drawing for a project I'm doing, boredom, or for a friend or two x3
As for my drawing knowledge, I just recently got back to drawing June of 06 and am steadily improving with each piece I draw though I seem to have locked onto a style finally that I might keep.
So then, with that in mind, lets be friends? Fav me, watch me, and luff me! x3 hehe BTW I do accept trades and maybe even commissions as I have had some people buy from me in the past. Overall, I'm a nice husky that'll try and work something out with you, also I won't bite (okay... maybe I will... just not hard

Literally, a Ford Focus hatchback (ZX2 me thinks) on the road while driving my car back into town for the first time.
Long LONG drive but it seem to hold up nicely.
I still hear a few things that make my skin crawl and teeth chatter but those sounds should soon be eliminated once I get my new aluminium suspension set and fully rebuild my axles

Well, onto the 'Focus' thing, I was just coming out of Eureka, MO on I44, passing Six Flags in the carpool lane when I pass this rather nice looking Focus. It wasn't like riced out or done up wrong but decent for the daily driver. Nice paint job, no obnoxiously/ignorantly huge spoiler(wing) in the rear and wasn't loud ither but I could tell (and smell o_O) that he has been doing some things to the engine of it.
Well we're cruising along at about 60mph (about 100k/mph) then he gets infront of me and stays at that speed. So me, with my Lead Foot Syndrome (L.F.S) problems, I got out and went around him then upped the speed to the 80s mainly due to the traffic I had to get around just to get back into the carpool lane. Well when I do that, this guy comes rushing behind me and practically drafting me while I'm doing this. So naturally I get the idea he wanted to play right?
Well I was still worried about something going wrong but I figure if anything did go wrong my friend said he'd come get me, so with that in thought, I kinda started a sprint race with him

He seem to be headed in the same direction I was but nonetheless we were cruising at least 90s by the time we were around Fenton, MO. Jumping lanes and rounding eachother like Musical Lanes, it was kinda fun

first time I got to really drive side by side with someone and actually enjoy it for once. Well he then wanted to try and out-speed me, so it appeared, and took the lead well over the 100 mark. So like a moron, I keep pace and as we're getting on the transfer ramp from I44 to I270 he's tapping the hell out of his limiter at like 113mph and here I come 10 digits faster than him...
Needless to say it scared me shitless cause I now know brakes are a must in my next suspension work on the car

but once he kinda realized he couldn't go much faster he paced it around 100 as I did behind him... from a safer distance lol On I270 though, we were nearing Kirkwood and I knew the place was rather... 'hilly' so I figure I'd use that to my advantage for more speed (will explain why later in this journal) well once we were off the transfer ramp I downed it into 4th and lay on the throttle till it was back around 103 then up into 5th and pace, we hit the first downhill slop and I lean into the throttle slightly and like a supercar the needle just kept climbing! I got it to about 136, I haven't been that bloody fast in ages! It felt really nice

and certainly aired out some somethings on the car lol
As for Focus Guy, he was struggling to keep up so when I came to the uphill slope, I took it back down to 90 and he comes whizzing past then shoots me the middle finger and smiles at me LOL I dunno if that was a friendly "it was fun, but let's not do it again" gesture or simply a "Fuck you, prick" kinda gesture lol Ither way it was fun while it lasted. Like, I wasn't trying to showoff or anything of that degree but god, the last time I had a group drive with someone was with a club and they were all formal like 'you HAVE to drive this way and do this THAT way and no goofing off!' which got boring very fast >.>

Anyway, as for why I had to use the hill to nearly max out my speed, well... my clutch is completely dead now. If I push it from a stand, I can barely touch 92mph anymore but if I'm already up to speed and work the gears right I can get higher, but not much higher with out help of a down slope . My clutch is slipping way too much and I can only imagine what my flywheel looks like but I'm actually going to wait to finish my entire suspension before I go and do the clutch. Wouldn't make sense to me plus I feel it's better that way since if I change the clutch to something newer and get nearly ALL the power the engine has to give to the wheels, I could run into serious suspension problems as now it has way more force on it now than before. Example, I'm just gonna throw out numbers here; let's say with my current clutch, I'm probably only getting 80-120hp to the wheels but that same clutch aged with the car. Now let's put a new clutch on it with improved, updated technology on it and now I'm getting nearly all 160-190hp to the wheels, sudden power jump could possibly cause problems I'd not want to tango with lol, if the car had been properly maintained over the years and gotten replacements when It should have, I probably wouldn't be so timid to just put a new clutch in and drive onward.
But yea, that's the story behind my clutch issues at the moment, I now see why Porsche designed it the way they did so if it does die on you, you can still drive it or 'get it home quick!' as the manual states lol but getting to higher speeds would be virtually impossible or done with out the comfort of ease.

I'm still waiting on my aluminium suspension set to get here in which I will be ready to drive the car on a regular basis and speed without fear of a wheel jumping off lol but after pricing everything... I was actually stunned with how much some of the bigger things would cost me.. owning a Porsche isn't all that bad even with some of the newer ones

but all I have left now are control arms and anti-roll bars, wheelbearings *shiver*, brakes, parking brakes (so I can stop having to put the bloody thing in gear when I wanna park!), rebuild axles, struts and coils,and bushings. All of which came out to approx 1.6k-2.4k$ for everything which is good in my opinion compared to owning some shit Ferrari or something >.>
